What is an iMCM Generation 2:

The  iMCM G2 is the next generation of information management software program. This powerful, easy-to-use, Internet-connected system uses the latest technology to improve efficiency and productivity, giving you complete control of all your incoming and outbound mail and shipments.

With all new features and services, as well as the latest in mail processing technology, iMCM G2 offers a state-of-the-art systems architecture that is simple to install, configure and operate. Inexpensive to deploy, iMCM G2 provides online, integrated manuals and tutorials for “self paced” operator training, and its clear and logical process flow offers a complete range of task functionality, comprehensive domestic and international rating capability and item processing for all carriers.

Everything You Need in a Single System

The new iMCM G2 software system offers users all the features of its iMCM predecessor, plus much more. It produces multi-carrier-compliant, two-dimensional bar-coded labels that include a user’s tracking number, routing detail and address information for fast, accurate and economical control. It will reduce processing time and cut costs by providing address correction and validation services - without operator intervention. In fact, iMCM G2 can save you $10 per air shipment address correction, and $5 for each correction of a ground or other service transaction. Also, through its iMCM Advisor, it analyzes and prepares a “report card” of historical transaction data showing shipping room efficiencies, and the cost effectiveness of your carriers and vendors.

iMCM G2 has been optimized and designed to perform best when used with a touch screen monitor, thereby eliminating the need for many cumbersome keyboard and mouse functions. Using its Real Time Interface (RTI) option, it seamlessly integrates with a “host” system, allowing for the straightforward exchange and manipulation of raw data, compiled reports for analysis, and complete cost analysis and charge back information. Its Work Ahead feature offers a number of multi-tasking functions. For example, while someone is running letters on the interfaced mailing machine, another can be processing parcels using the shipping screen. Also, the system is flexible and highly configurable for end user requirements, enabling an individual to enhance their performance by configuring repetitive or complex tasks.

iMCM G2 provides easy and clear access to all required carriers and functions, meeting all customer requirements for both domestic and international shipping. It will eliminate carrier surcharges for addressing errors, while calculating automatic add-ons for carrier fuel and other surcharges in order to prevent “under billing” of clients and customers. iMCM G2 guarantees the best routing decisions based on accurate addresses, offers multiple shipper numbers to support unique and complete shipper identities, and produces clear and concise carrier billing statements vs. consolidated billings that typically must be analyzed and allocated then billed to a shipper’s client. Other important features include:

  • Seamless interfacing with Hasler’s WJ mailing systems
  • Provides email notification for shipped, delivered or both
  • Customizable user interface to reflect customer application requirements
  • Easy access to printable management reports
  • limits duplicate package ID checking to the open manifest only
  • USPS Online®-compliant; FedEx® Certified Solution Provider; Airborne® On-line Certified; and MAC Certified (USPS Manifesting)

The modern, up to date architecture of iMCM G2 enables users to connect and “talk” to any system. It allows quick and easy access to important functions provided by carriers, as well as the ability to exchange data with hosts and other software. Its sole purpose is to make your mail center tasks easier, more efficient and less expensive, while providing accurate analysis of your processing and mail shipping expenditures.

What is an Authorization Code?

An Authorization Code is a unique number that is used when updating rates or changing software on a Hasler scale. During the update process the scale display will prompt the user to enter an authorization code. The authorization code insures that user has purchased the new rates or software.

AH and WJS scales require authorization codes (setting codes) when updating rates or software. WJ base units do not require an authorization code.

Authorization codes are shipped with the rate card (rate module) inside the box.
WJS scale setting codes can be obtained online. The scale serial number is needed.
